Listen carefully and follow the golf swing lessons. You may have doubts if the golf trainer changes your stance, your grip or your golf swing, the golf trainer knows best.
Of utmost importance, is being honest about your golf game. The golf professional will ask you what you want to start with; driving, chipping, putting or whatever you feel you need help with.
Don’t hesitate to ask questions. Don’t worry about if the question or concern is stupid, golf schools or your particular golf trainer, well they’ve heard it all before and will not make you feel like an idiot for asking. If you don’t get it, tell him or her that you’re not getting it. You should never walk away from a golf lesson with unanswered questions.
You can concentrate on one thing during a golf lesson, or several. You might start with a golf lesson in driving; get the right grip, the right stance, the right swing, the right follow-through in one golf lesson, and then practice it. Next time, you might work on your short game, or putting.
Tell yourself good things. So many people are telling themselves that they will perform poorly in a given situation and then, when they do, they act surprised. Tell yourself good things, and good things will occur.
Go into your golf swing lessons or golf grip lessons or golf drive lessons etc., with an open mind and plan on working at it. Getting better at your golf is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the journey.
